Lisa Bilski

After realizing her History degrees didn’t come with a long list of job options, Lisa took a leap and convinced the company she was temping for that she could handle their outgoing accountant’s role. Thanks to summers and school breaks spent helping her stepmother, a CPA, she already had the hands‑on experience to make it work. “That experience motivated me to build a deep expertise in managerial accounting, strategic financial analysis and how to interpret data to help leaders make smart long‑term decisions,” she says. She loves finance projects that answer big-picture questions. “Understanding what sets us apart from our peers enables us to be better, faster and stronger. It’s a challenge I love to take on.” She also specializes in projects that help uncover the specific value brought to clients and how to deliver it most effectively. Earning her CPA license and MBA while working full‑time and staying deeply involved in her family life, is an achievement that has strengthened her belief that “I can do hard things, even when the path feels long.”  Beyond the world of finance, Lisa flexes her artistic muscles as an active musician, where she plays the oboe, English horn and clarinet. When not working or performing, you can find her “nurturing her love of travel” which was passed down to her during her teenage years when her parents owned a travel agency.
