William Jensen

William is drawn to the enduring nature of his profession. "Architecture contributes to the creation of place and long-lasting elements of our environment," he notes. "I like being part of something that lasts." He’s lasted, too—he began studying architecture as a high-school co-op intern at age 15, and never considered anything else. It remains endlessly challenging, he says, because "no two projects or delivery methods are the same. Every project is forced to live outside the box, as the box is gone. My goal is always quality design and quality documents to execute the design." He has a particular passion for early 20^th-century architecture, which "represents the rise of American architectural design," he suggests. He also has a passion for music, and plays guitar in a rock band.
