Design Justice for Housing Resilience and Well-Being Webinar

Recent events have underscored the inequities throughout our society and demand we rethink how to provide access to equitable, resilient, and healthy housing options for all. SmithGroup’s Future of Living series invites industry partners to engage in the delivery of various housing types — from multifamily and senior living developments to mixed-use, student and affordable housing — to come together and reimagine the future of living to create environments that support thriving communities and a healthy planet. Previous sessions have included ‘Re-energizing for Housing Efficiency’ and ‘Density Equity Bonus” to discuss challenges and strategies for change. 

The third session of SmithGroup’s Future of Living series ”Design Justice: Will engage national housing policy and strategy experts to understand the current factors that are straining equitable and affordable housing access and frameworks to affect change. Participants will examine design efficiencies and community involvement to best accommodate equitable housing developments.
