Based in Phoenix with offices throughout the world, Axway is an information technology company that provides software tools for enterprise data integration. When it selected a new headquarters location in Phoenix, the firm seized the opportunity to leave behind its former traditional office environment.

The new Axway Headquarters establishes a more interactive space that reflects its global vision and collaborative work style. The reception area boldly communicates the firm’s identity. Upon entry, a glass-walled Innovation Lab showcases Axway expertise with a view of the latest technology solutions in real time.

The arrival area leads immediately into a welcoming hospitality space, offering access to an expansive work lounge and food service bar for staff and visitors alike.

The company motto, “Better Together,” reinforces the brand identity as a graphic element that runs the length of the floor. A variety of seating and AV equipment, including a large projection screen concealed in the ceiling, allow the lounge to double as an event and meeting space.

Beyond the lounge, the staff space features a variety of work neighborhoods with a diversity of seating types. Partial walls of blond wood and glass help define areas and contain sound while maintaining an open environment. Special software lets staff see at a glance which rooms and spaces are occupied. A library provides a tech-free, quiet zone for workday respite. A bright white and gray palette extends throughout the workplace, accented with deep blue on the exposed ceiling structure.
