SmithGroup, one of the nation’s largest architecture, engineering, interiors and planning firms, has hired Elizabeth Robinson to lead the Workplace Practice Studio at the firm’s Dallas office. She joins SmithGroup from Seattle-based Collins Woerman, where she led its interior design practice.
In her role as Workplace Studio Leader, Robinson will focus on expanding the Dallas office’s project portfolio for workplace interiors, asset repositioning, corporate headquarters, mixed-use neighborhoods, retail and urban residential environments. She will be instrumental in supporting local clients while identifying new strategic relationships with companies expanding into the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex area and adjacent markets.

With a background in interior architecture spanning 30 years, Robinson has led projects for corporate, retail and hospitality Fortune 100 clients, including those for Microsoft, Samsung, The Boeing Company, T-Mobile, and Marriott International.
Prior to Collins Woerman, Robinson was the interior design practice lead and Principal at MG2 Architects and senior associate at NBBJ, both located in Seattle.
She is a former 13-year resident of Dallas with experience working with RMM/Enterprise Southwest, Robert Young Associates, Zale Corporation and Bristol Hotel Corporation.
Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati. She currently resides in Dallas.
