SmithGroup is pleased to announce that David Glenn, RCCD, CTS-D, LEED AP BD+C, has been named a “40 Under 40” honoree by Consulting-Specifying Engineer.
Glenn serves as Director of Information & Communications Technology at SmithGroup and possesses specialized expertise in many areas, including threat and vulnerability assessments, CPTED-informed planning and the design of advanced electronic security systems including surveillance, facility access control, intrusion detection and centralized management platforms, as well as immersive audiovisual experiences. He has applied his unique skillsets to solve complex security and systems challenges and develop holistic, integrated, system-wide solutions that safeguard people, communities and facilities.
Glenn's portfolio encompasses many markets and building typologies, from higher education, healthcare, performing arts, commercial and mixed-use projects to aviation, transportation, institutional, broadcast, biotech and government work of varying scope and size. High-profile clients that he has worked with include Amazon, Cornell University, Fidelity Investments, Johns Hopkins University, Moderna, NPR and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, to name a few.
A respected leader and mentor within the industry, Glenn pens articles, speaks at conferences and panel events and participates in a variety of outreach efforts throughout the community.
