SRJC’s Lindley Center for STEM Education Honored with National SCUP/AIA Award for Architectural Excellence

Santa Rosa Junior College’s Lindley Center,  the campus’s new STEM building designed by SmithGroup,  has been recognized with a 2026 Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) / American Institute of Architects (AIA) CAE Excellence in Architecture Award for a New Building (Honorable Mention).

The award honors the project’s visionary approach to STEM learning and community‑centered design. With its focus on connection and belonging, the Lindley Center has become a lively anchor for student engagement.
