With 25 years of experience in architectural design, Bill Katz has come to think of his profession in an intriguing way. "It’s the idea of molding space," says Bill. The Boston-area native describes his craft as "the manipulation of that space within, around and between built form. All three are of equal value in shaping our environment." An architect in the Higher Education Studio in the San Francisco office, Bill appreciates the art form of design communications. "A beautifully animated diagram can keep me satisfied for a good long time," he remarks. So it comes as no surprise that he admires the work of Walt Disney. "His ability to convincingly represent his ideas, no matter how crazy they were at the start, is unmatched to this day."
