“Data is constantly connecting, growing, and transforming every part of our world. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the data center market, making it imperative we help mission critical clients design buildings that are adaptable, flexible, sustainable and resilient,” suggests Brian. It’s a principle he has been practicing as an electrical engineer and mission critical leader for most of his career. Early on, his work included engineering critical power systems to support the 24/7 continuous operations of computer chip manufacturing and telecommunications facilities. Brian’s data center work followed with major internet companies and research institutions. While many data centers are just now exploring water cooling to support AI Brian has involved in water cooled computing facilities for over a decade. He has considerable admiration for the “visionary genius” of Nikola Tesla. “What strikes me most is his ability to conceive new concepts creatively and in ways others did not—often completing a whole concept in his mind, before putting it down on paper,” he marvels. “His prototypes changed the world.”
