Helping other people solve their problems is Greg’s favorite part of being an architect. "Architecture is a problem-solving profession, but it does not take place in a vacuum. For me, the focus of every project must be for the benefit of the patient it serves and the medical professionals it supports." As a principal in SmithGroup’s Boston office, maintaining and cultivating exceptional client relations is a major priority in Greg’s day-to-day schedule. While involved in multiple aspects of project development, his focus lies in synthesizing the patient’s and user’s requirements with the institutional facility standards to create technically sophisticated and cost-effective projects. Greg’s ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously also comes in handy when caring for his 100-year old wooden house.
